Here's a head's up on a great project you might want to participate in: The Toledo Museum of Art is collecting handmade beads from artists, enthusiasts and community members as part of the Bead Goes On, a project culminating with the installation of a 10,000-bead curtain at the Museum.

Congratulations to Patricia Zabreski Venaleck, Kathy Petersen and Susan Matych-Hager for being included in the ISGB Convergence II exhibit! Pat and Susan are both members of the Southeastern Michigan Glass Beadmakers Guild!
Awards: Congratulations to Susan Parry for winning a Merit Award for her glass work at the 39th annual TACA show held at Centennial Park in Nashville, May 7-9.
FYI: Beads of Courage is now up and running at T.C. Thompson Children's Hospital (a division of Erlanger Hosp) in Chattanooga, TN. Awesome news!!
