How it Works
ALL New Workshops Launch with Option to Relaunch in 6 months
A scheduled course launch creates excitement and encourages students to learn together.
Includes:
- Public marketing campaign
- Registration opening and closing dates
- Unlimited student access

- Student discussion and Q&A within lessons
- Optional dedicated Facebook group
- Live Zoom session 4–6 weeks after launch
- Option to relaunch approximately six months later
Instructor Compensation
75% of the ISGB member registration price paid following the Zoom session.

How to Get Started
Step 1: Submit an Instructor Interest Form
Tell us about yourself, your teaching experience, and your workshop idea.
Step 2: Workshop Review
Our Education Team will review your proposal and contact you for additional information.
Step 3: Build Your Course
Once approved, you'll receive a timeline and guidance for preparing your content.
Creating Your Workshop
Course Information Needed
When your workshop is accepted, we'll ask for:
- Course title
- Instructor name
- Skill level
- Workshop price
- Course length
- Learning objectives
- Materials and supply list
- Information about optional kits
Course Structure
Sections
Organize your course into major topics.
Lessons
Break topics into individual lessons.
Recommended lesson length: 15–30 minutes
Each lesson should clearly outline:
- Techniques covered
- Demonstrations included
- Learning outcomes
Photos
Include images throughout your course to help students visualize techniques and finished work.
Creating Great Online Content
Think about your online workshop the same way you would teach a live class.
A successful course typically includes:
- Introduction and instructor welcome

Closed Captions
Closed captions are saved as .SRT files.
If your editing software doesn't create captions, you can upload videos privately to YouTube and export the caption file.
PDF Guidelines
Students appreciate downloadable reference materials.
Consider including:
