September is childhood cancer awareness month and a great time to honor and support Beads of Courage for their work in supporting children with serious illnesses.

Join us for a special evening celebrating Beads of Courage (BOC) with updates, inspiration, and creative glass demos! We will have three very special guests:

πŸ’¬ Jean Gribbon, President and Founder of BOC, will provide an update on their incredible work and share their current needs.

πŸ”₯ Bead tutorials!  ISGB chapter members Janice Peacock and Juliet Page will be sharing their videos on making fish and jellyfish beads for BOC.


🎁 Call for Beads!
All chapters and chapter members are invited to donate beads to Beads of Courage. Document your donation (between September 1 and November 1 2025) and you’ll be entered into a random drawing for fabulous prizes! 

Donation guidelines:

  • Send all bead donations directly to Beads of Courage at 3301 N. 1st Ave, Tucson, AZ 85719.
  • Use the donation form from the BOC website:
  • Send a photo of your bead donation, along with number of beads, name, email, and chapter name to Steve Bay: dalsteve@isgb.org. Photo documentation must be received by November 1 to qualify for the prize drawing.
  • Each donation of at least 5 beads qualifies for one raffle prize entry. 
  • Only one drawing entry per person/chapter name is allowed.
  • Individual chapter members that contribute to a single large bead donation, are each eligible for a
  • raffle entry, provided their names and emails are included in the donation documentation.


✨ Drawing Prizes Include:

  • Frantz Art Glass gift certificate ($100 value) 
  • Flameworking tools, 10 new tools generously donated by Mary Brown-Martilik (incl. leaf mashers, graphite tools, Peters tweezers, marble mold, and more!).
  • And more prizes to be announced!
